Stock Catalyst Radar is a public-source market research app. It tracks official public records such as government spending data, public-company filings, patent-related records, FDA records, and clinical trial records. Information Stored on Your Device
Stock Catalyst Radar stores some information locally on your device so the app can function. This may include:
- Watchlist items, keywords, tickers, companies, agencies, and alert rules you create.
- Notification preferences and alert score thresholds.
- Signals you delete or restore inside the app.
- A SAM.gov API key, if you choose to enter one.
This information is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a separate backend server for this app, and we do not sell this information.
Information Sent to Official Data Sources
To retrieve public records, the app may send search terms, watchlist keywords, tickers, company names, or similar query text from your device to official or public data providers. These providers may include sources such as SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, SEC EDGAR, ClinicalTrials.gov, openFDA, patent-related public sources, and similar official registries.
These requests are used to retrieve public-source data for the app's feed and alerts. The operators of those external services may receive technical information such as your IP address, request time, user agent, and query terms, according to their own policies and logging practices.
SAM.gov API Key
SAM.gov live opportunity data requires a SAM.gov API key. If you enter a SAM.gov API key in the app, it is stored on your device and used to make requests from your device to SAM.gov. Do not share your SAM.gov API key with other people.
Payments and Subscriptions
Subscriptions, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and payment processing are handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card number or payment credentials. Google Play may provide subscription status information to the app so that the app can determine whether access is active.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app may send local push notifications about matching public-source events. You can change notification permissions in Android system settings.
Financial and Health Information
Stock Catalyst Radar may display public financial, regulatory, clinical trial, FDA, or government-contract information because these public records can be relevant to market research. The app does not collect bank account information, brokerage credentials, trading account credentials, medical records, health records, or insurance information.
The app does not provide buy, sell, or hold recommendations. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or clinical guidance.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your locally stored watchlists, alert rules, or SAM.gov API key with a developer-operated backend server. Data may be processed by third parties only as needed for app functionality, such as Google Play for billing and official/public data providers for source queries.
Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Subscription and purchase records are managed by Google Play and are subject to Google's retention policies. External public-source providers may retain request logs according to their own policies.
Security
The app uses HTTPS where supported by the external services it contacts. You are responsible for keeping your device, Google account, and SAM.gov API key secure.
Children
Stock Catalyst Radar is not designed for children and is intended for users interested in market research and public-source financial information.
